Paws on Main is your one stop shop for all your grooming, treats, and toy needs for your dog and cat. Our store, located in Grand Valley, is a bright space filled with everything you need to spoil your pet. Our friendly staff is always ready and able to answer any questions you may have about our products or services. Our Grand Valley location is pleased to offer a self-serve tub, all your pet essentials, grooming, and a super fun environment that we are sure your pet will love.
Meet the crew
Melanie
lead groomer & animal care
Melanie has been an animal lover since she was a young girl. She naturally went into the animal services industry and graduated from Sheridan College’s Animal Care program. She has worked at reputable veterinarian clinics and also at the Toronto Humane Society caring for animals. While working in animal care, she began to work at PetSmart and realized her passion was in grooming - graduating in 2016 from Petsmart’s Grooming Academy.
Her background knowledge, experience, and overall love for animals ensure a paw-sitive time for your fur baby.
In her spare time, she loves to bake, craft, and be outside.
Brittany
admin/front desk
Brittany has had a dog in her life since the age of 5. She dreamed of becoming a vet from a young age until she realized you had to do more than pet animals all day. She now has 2 dogs at home and a little girl who would rather have a cat.
In her spare time, you can find her playing with her daughter or attempting to take all 3 of her babies for a walk.. at the same time!
Margaret

Her positive attitude, attentiveness, and experience are all amazing qualities for a successful training program for you and your dog.
Margaret has a BSc in Zoology and her passion started when she began training service puppies! We are very lucky to add Margaret to our team to teach your dog some new tricks or brush up on some obedience and manners.
Danielle
groomer & animal care
Danielle has always had a passion for animals. She decided to attend St. Lawrence College for Veterinary Assistance after highschool.
She graduated in the spring of 2018. She began working at a dog daycare and eventually found her first grooming position. She has been grooming for 3 years now and absolutely loves grooming.
Cecilia
communications
Cecilia has been in a different direction with her career for the last ten years, but that does not take away from her love of animals. Having her fair share of pets over the years, she believes patience, love, and quality care are essential for your pets’ wellbeing and longevity. Passionate about researching the best products, food, and services for your fur baby; she wants to ensure a positive overall experience.
Cecilia credits her hubby, Jeremy, for helping her vision come to life with the store and is excited to enjoy her new hometown with her growing family!

Self-Serve Tub
For those messy days or a nice refresh (without the mess in your home!). We provide shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a powerful dryer.
$10 for 1hr. Appointments preferred as there is one tub. Walk-in available.

We have curbside pick-up and offer delivery within 30km of our store, to make things even easier for you! Free within 20km.
